I just love it. We were at a going-away party yesterday for our law enforcement colleagues and we had an incredible storm, including hail &#8211; fun!<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.5em;\">We hosted book club on Thursday to discuss &#8220;The Billion Dollar Spy,&#8221; a true story set during the Cold War. It is an incredible story, and we had a lively discussion about it. At the end of the evening, John treated us to a spy-themed magic trick that was a big hit!<div id=\"attachment_4874\" style=\"width: 235px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.criplomats.com\/wp-content\/John-magic.jpg\"><img aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4874\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.criplomats.com\/wp-content\/John-magic-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"John at book club\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-4874\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.criplomats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/John-magic-225x300.jpg 225w, http:\/\/www.criplomats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/John-magic-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-4874\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">John at book club<\/p><\/div><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.5em;\">John left this morning for his three-city tour &#8211; Fayetteville, Arkansas, to see his parents; Washington D.C. for a few days of work; and Carlisle, Pennsylvania, for a two-week War College program. <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.5em;\">I was excited to get a surprise in the mail this week &#8211; a book just published by my photography teacher in Tel Aviv, Rinat Halon. I have no idea how she got my address, but I was happy to get a copy of her book!
