A 20 hour trip turned into 35 hour trip thanks to weather on the eastern seaboard. At any rate, I arrived in lovely Asunci\u00f3n and worked there all week. I didn\u2019t have much time for sightseeing&#8230;just walked around the hotel in the evening. The highlight of the trip was dinner at a fabulous restaurant with Elise, with whom we worked in Juarez, and Kathy G. From Guadalajara! Old home week. And my outbrief with the DCM was with Hugo from Mexico, so everything was very comfortable. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.5em;\">I got in Saturday morning and did shopping for brunch on Sunday. \u00a0It was John \u2018s birthday, and\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 14px; line-height: 1.5em;\">we hosted a dozen or so from our A-100 classmates and their kids \u2014 so fun to reconnect with everyone and meet their kiddos.
