I had a good visit with Ann, Pam, and Jackie last Sunday. Last night I spent time with a few co-workers – the first socialization I\u2019ve done in a long time. Since we had a COVID spike in December, we\u2019ve really been keeping to ourselves but now that the number of cases is declining again, it\u2019s nice to see folks a little bit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I finished reading \u201cPeril,\u201d and enjoyed it. This morning I read Sarah Vowell\u2019s book of essays, \u201cTake the Cannoli\u201d – it\u2019s really good and made me laugh out loud a few times. I had never heard of her before (guess I haven\u2019t listened to \u201cThis American Life\u201d in a long time), but I heard an interview she did with Alan Alda on his \u201cClear and Vivid\u201d podcast (thanks, Ann). She\u2019s very witty and thoughtful. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
John and I were on the edge of our seat watching the last of \u201cTehran,\u201d an Israeli-Iran spy show. We\u2019ve started the new season of \u201cOzark\u201d and have gotten drawn back into it. We also watched a good, wry documentary about Kenny G, \u201cListening to Kenny G\u201d that\u2019s worth watching, too.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
