It\u2019s amazing to see so clearly and to see such vibrant colors again! I\u2019ll still need reading glasses, but I\u2019m very happy. Dr. Hester in Little Rock did this surgery, too, and I really like him (a Hendrix grad). Everything went smoothly and recovery is going well!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Kelly H. was in town from Seattle and spent Thursday afternoon and evening with us &#8211; it was a lovely afternoon on the balcony and we had a great time catching up. John\u2019s friend Rusty came on Tuesday and spent the day &#8211; I brought in Stubby\u2019s BBQ for lunch and they had a big time talking all day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"213\" height=\"320\" src=\"http:\/\/www.criplomats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/IMG_2775.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7189\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.criplomats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/IMG_2775.jpeg 213w, http:\/\/www.criplomats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/IMG_2775-200x300.jpeg 200w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 213px) 100vw, 213px\" \/><figcaption>Kelly H.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Saturday John and I hit the Farmers\u2019 Market in the morning and had breakfast downtown; we also stopped and got water from the hot springs, something I started doing on our last trip home (delish!). Later in the day I had coffee with David.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>John and I are watching the third season of \u201cThe Morning Show,\u201d and we\u2019re really enjoying \u201cThe Bear\u201d! I\u2019m reading the crazy account of a cult in NY, a true story based on a very wacky psychoanalysis premise.
