The movers came on Wednesday &#8211; the photo shows one of the movers standing inside our single crate. We had 22 boxes total, most of them not as big as the ones sitting on the ground. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I had dinner with David and Alison two night this week (pizza and bbq, yum!). One evening I went to Kathy W\u2019s apartment for happy hour. After touring her lovely complex and apartment, we sat outside by the (gorgeous) pool and had a glass of wine while catching up. Pam came down Friday and we started a Scrabble marathon that didn\u2019t end until late afternoon Saturday! I got my flu and COVID shots, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I watched several movies: \u201cBel Canto,\u201d \u201cThe Lost Bus\u201d with Hendrix alumni Ashlie Atkinson, \u201dThe Good Nurse,\u201d and \u201cBodies, Bodies, Bodies,\u201d which I watched because it\u2019s the same director as \u201cBabygirl.\u201d <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"240\" src=\"http:\/\/www.criplomats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/IMG_5167.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-7918\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.criplomats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/IMG_5167.jpeg 320w, https:\/\/www.criplomats.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/IMG_5167-300x225.jpeg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The sunrises have been beautiful &#8211; I love the steam coming off the water in the photo above.
