Last Sunday John and I went to the finals of the Argentine Open and had a great time! Cerundolo fell to the young Brazilian Joao Fonseca – our seats were next to a large Brazilian contingent and believe me, we heard every cheer from them! It was a fun match.
I only worked one day this week — Monday was a holiday, John took me for a colonoscopy on Tuesday (all good!), I worked Wednesday, and then took Thursday and Friday as vacation days to prepare for Antarctica 2.0.
John and I flew to Ushuaia on yesterday and had the day to ourselves. We stuck around the hotel and enjoyed the views over downtown and the harbor. We had a nice dinner at the restaurant last night.
This morning we participated in the hotel’s archery class with about a dozen other guests. It was fun and John and I actually did really well – John in particular was a standout! We both had a few bull’s eyes (he had a lot!). The hotel backs up into the mountainside and it was a very peaceful setting, as well.
