Air show
Thursday was Israeli Independence Day, so the Embassy was closed. I had a great time at two different parties in my building. We watched the air show from the balcony which was a lot of fun. Dave and Shani spent Wednesday and Thursday nights with me, too. Click to see more photos from the air show.
Last Sunday I had brunch at Benedict’s with Rob, Bill and Diane, then Diane and I went to the shuk to pick up a few things.
Last night I went to a fun party upstairs at Clay’s. We sat out on his balcony all evening – a really pretty night.
I’m really in countdown mode here in Tel Aviv as my departure date gets closer – there’s so much to do to get ready to go! I spent all day yesterday organizing everything. Luckily, most of our things were packed out when John left, but there is still a lot to do. I have to split everything between four shipments, so the house is a big mess now!
